Design Brief

Design Brief – The game I have created is a escape room for the main purpose to provide a wonderful thrill and use your brain power to try to figure out various puzzles. The game has a dark theme with little light and various sounds to give you a real escape room vibe and promote that there is something coming after you and you don’t have much time to figure out the puzzles.

Purpose – The purpose of my escape room, also known as a puzzle room, is a themed challenge event in which the players/ participants work together to uncover clues, accomplish tasks, and solve a range of riddles. The purpose is to complete a specified, time-bound task generally to get away from someone or somewhere.

Audience – The target audience of my game is around 16-24 year olds as the is where the human brain is most active and functional, it is targeted at both genders but I feel like males might enjoy it more, as it is more violent / cruel.

Constraints – The constraints on the game was time, as the smallest script error could set you back hours, and me trying to make the most enjoyable game takes so much longer
